A brand new developers blog post has unveiled Ul’dah’s new theme for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

All three starting cities have finally had their new tunes revealed, courtesy of music maestro Soken. He explains that for ARR, the team was really put a lot of effort into creating more ambient sounds, as well as content-specific effects. Music is said to be more of an accent in the land of Eorzea, rather than the focal point – that is to say, it will “melt into the background” as you make your way through your own adventures.
