Final Fantasy VII now available on Steam

Rejoice, PC fans – Final Fantasy VII is now available on Steam.

The official Steam store has just updated with the game ready for purchase and download at $11.99 – quite the surprise release. Similar to the version Square Enix released on their own digital platform for PC last year, the game comes loaded with achievements, cloud saves, and a handy character booster if you’re finding the game too difficult.

As a note – although the game can be accessed through Steam, it still requires a Square Enix account to run. Just a heads up.

Minimum system requirements are as follows:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64bits)
Processor: 2GHz
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 9.0c-compatible graphic card
DirectX®: 9.0c
Hard Drive: 3 GB HD space
