In preparation for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster’s launch this week across western territories, Square Enix has prepared yet another “epic trailer” showcasing both games in their newly revamped states and the stories that fans fell in love with all those years ago.
The game will feature remastered visuals which include new character models, improved textures, and improvements to pre-rendered backgrounds where applicable. Final Fantasy X has had its soundtrack redone by the sound team to feature more live recordings.
Included in both games is new content present in the original “International” releases that never made their way to North America a decade ago. This includes Dark Aeons in Final Fantasy X and Creature Create in Final Fantasy X-2 for example. The game will feature cross-saving so those of you with a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita can pick up and continue your adventures whenever or wherever you please.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster releases on March 18th in North America and March 21st in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. You can read our review of the games by clicking here.
