First round of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call DLC announced for Japan

The first volume of downloadable content for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is set to launch in Japan this week following the launch of the game tomorrow, Square Enix has revealed today.

Eight new songs as well as one character – Yuffie from Final Fantasy VII – will be available for purchase off the Nintendo eShop at the cost of ¥150 each. As part of its launch campaign, two of those tracks will be available for users for free from 4/24 through 5/8 – Battle 2 from Final Fantasy V and Rose of May from Final Fantasy IX. The other songs which can be purchased include:

Battle 2 – Final Fantasy V
Shuffle or Boogie – Final Fantasy VIII
Blitz Off – Final Fantasy X
Tough Battle #2 – Final Fantasy XI
Library of the Ancients – Final Fantasy V
Eternity -Memory of Lightwaves- – Final Fantasy X-2
Crazy Chocobo – Final Fantasy XIII-2
Rose of May – Final Fantasy IX

As confirmed today, the game will also be making its way to both North America and Europe some time later this year.
