Square Enix reveals their E3 2014 lineup

Square Enix returns to E3 this year with a lighter lineup than usual, as most of their big games from last year have released and Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III remain in a far off place for now.

Similar to 2013, this year is headlined by Final Fantasy XIV and other titles out of the company’s domestic catalog. Their booth will play host to playable versions of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. Fans of Square Enix’s western catalog will have a chance to see Nosgoth, the recently released Murdered: Soul Suspect, Hitman: Sniper, as well as the newly-announced Rise of the Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.

“Our E3 roster showcases the incredible talent stemming from Square Enix’s Eastern and Western development studios across a variety of platforms and game types,” said Yosuke Matsuda, president and representative director of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd. “Our lineup has something for everyone – MMO players, console gamers, families, mobile users and PC competitive gamers, and we’re thrilled to present them outstanding interactive experiences through our vast portfolio of games.”

Additionally, Square Enix is planning an assortment of live streaming events to be held throughout the show – the full schedule can be found here and will be centered mostly around FFXIV and interviews from Naoki Yoshida, as well as other internal developers.
