Square Enix announces the winners of its Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Legacy of Music contest

Square Enix has revealed the winners of its recent Legacy of Music contest, which allowed fans to submit music videos to be judged by series composer Nobuo Uematsu. Participants were asked to create their own version of the main theme “Final Fantasy.”

“I’d like to thank all the fans who submitted their videos to the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call contest,” said Uematsu. “All the submissions were extremely well done, and it was a difficult task to pick from among them, but I’ve selected the works that had the most distinctive construction.”

The Grand Prize went to Miles (United States) who received a complimentary trip to an upcoming Distant Worlds concert, signed soundtracks and a selection of other prizes. Runner-up, Tanner (United States) also won his own share of goodies including a signed collector’s edition of the game. Square Enix has provided a video of Uematsu congratulating the winners as well as a look at some of the other fans who entered the contest.
