Dragon Quest Heroes officially dated in North America, Collector's Edition announced

Dragon Quest Heroes will be officially launching in North America on October 13th, Square Enix has confirmed today after a series of retailer leaks.

The game will be available in two flavors at launch – including a bonus-filled “Day One” edition along with a more expensive, heftier Collector’s Edition exclusively available from Square Enix’s own online store.

The Slime Collector’s Edition comes wrapped in a treasure chest-style box and includes bonus downloadable content and a selection of Slime-themed goodies. Both the Collector’s Edition and Day One edition include the following:

Slime Collector’s Edition ($99.99)
●      Slime Plushie, Slime Key Chain and Slime Lanyard.
●      Helpful Slime-themed downloadable content for characters to equip including a Slime Sword, Gooey Gloves, Goomerang, Goopid’s Bow, Squishing Rod, Gungenir, Slime-on-a-Stick, Gooreat Sword and Splat O’Nine Tails
●      Bonus quest items, including the Gold-digger’s Map and Happy Map

Day One Edition ($59.99)
●      Helpful Slime-themed downloadable content for characters to equip including: Slime Sword, Gooey Gloves, Goomerang, Squishing Rod and Gungenir

Additionally, Square Enix has confirmed the game to be playable at this year’s E3 show floor, along with a new trailer showing what there is to expect in the series’ first full-blown action RPG.
