During previous Active Time Reports Hajime Tabata and his team had shared behind the scenes videos about capturing real life landscapes and lightings as a research. At Gamescom 2015, Square Enix showed a longer version of this video, in which the developers went on expeditions to cook in the wild, observed animals like lions, snakes and giraffes, watched vehicles like helicopters and tanks or even squeezed themselves into dark caves.
