Deus Ex: Mankind Divided delayed to August 2016

The next installment in the Deus Ex franchise isn’t coming out quite as soon as originally forecasted. News came out today that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed to August 23, 2016. The game was originally set to release on February 23rd of 2016, but was pushed back for polishing reasons.

Edios-Montreal studio head David Anfossi had this to say:

We’re confident in [Mankind Divided] so far. However, as we are now playing through the game in full we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards. In order to achieve this, we need to move the release of the game to August 23rd, 2016.

We are sorry to disappoint you with this news, and also thank you for all of your support and comments. This game is a huge part of our lives, and we don’t want to compromise on its quality.
