dqheroesscanOld and new characters alike will be making their appearance in Dragon Quest Heroes II, Weekly Jump confirms. Scans surfacing from the magazine this week detail the addition of six new Dragon Quest series characters as well as the return of five heroes from the first game.

Newcomers include Minea (DQIV), Angelo (DQVIII), Maribel (DQ VII), Gabo (DQ VII), Carver (DQ VI), and Torneko (DQ IV). The confirmed returning cast includes fan favorites Terry (DQ VI), Alena (DQ IV), Jessica (DQ VIII), Kiryl (DQ IV) and Maya (DQ IV).

Dragon Quest Heroes II is set to launch in Japan on May 27th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in time for the series’ 30th anniversary.
