Tomb Raider will soon return to the silver screen and this time most famous archaeologist Lara Croft might be portrayed by British actress Daisy Ridley.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ridley mentioned at the Empire Awards in London last Sunday that there “have been conversations” about her role as Miss Croft. Ridley is currently known best for her leading role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Rey.

It has been about 13 years since the last movie Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life  hit the cinemas, starring Angelina Jolie. After some unsuccessful attempts to develop a sequel MGM and Warner Brothers announced a reboot in November 2015. The Norwegian Roar Uthaug will direct the movie.

The new Tomb Raider movie reboot is said to be in a early development phase since Daisy Ridley told The Hollywood Reporter there wasn’t even a script.
