The Vast Fields

Outside of the castle town are openly fields filled to the brim from grasslands to deserts and more for players to freely travel in between. Monsters occupy these fields, which will become the stage of fierce battles. Players will also be able to find treasure chests and items, as well as dungeon entrances, so be sure to explore every corner and section of the game’s world map.

DQH2 Fields 2

The area around Orenka is filled with lushy green grasslands. The monsters that appear here are weak compared to the other monsters you’ll face, including slimes and slime knights.

As players advance through the story, you’ll unlock Waystones, which will act as a fast travel mechanic to move instantly between locations.

When examining shining spots, you can obtain a variety of items. From time to time, treasure chests and pots will also be placed.

Dragon Quest Heroes II will appear on store shelves in Japan on May 27, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
