Romancing SaGa 2 coming overseas soon, more details this month

Via its official Twitter, Square Enix has announced that the updated version of Romancing SaGa 2 will be headed overseas soon. More information will be revealed later this month. The Japanese version released on iOS, Android, and PlayStation Vita, though no Vita version was mentioned for an overseas release.

Originally released for the Super Famicom back in 1993, Romancing SaGa 2 is a classic turn-based RPG that follows the empire of Avalon, with the player fulfilling the role of Emperor or Empress. Over the course of the game, you’ll come to play as various characters in the empire’s dynasty, and come to expand your forces across the world. While the original game never made it overseas, the updated version including remastered visuals, has finally been officially translated into English.
