Step into the wilderness with Tomb Raider's Survival Training Event

Square Enix is teaming up to bring another exciting Tomb Raider collaboration into the real world. Fans are invited to experience the art of survival first hand with the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Survival Training event in a special partnership with Adventure Out. There, they’ll spend the day with survival specialist and NatGeo Remote Survival host Cliff Hodges and crew, joined by key members from the Crystal Dynamics development team.

The day itself will take place in Northern California’s Santa Cruz mountains, beginning with a meet and greet lunch followed by five hours of learning the basics of survival in the wilderness – fire-by-friction, constructing earthen shelters, collecting and purifying water and making a bundle bow for hunting food. Each team will be paired with Crystal Dynamics staff and receive points for activities and challenges with the highest scoring team will take home a rare prize.

Only 35 slots are available for this one-time event, taking place on November 12. Fans can register on Adventure Out’s official website, with ticketing costs listed at $125 (plus $4.95 ticketing fee) per person. Ticket price includes all survival training and materials, instruction, lunch, and special branded give-away – including a chance to win a PlayStation 4 Pro and a copy of the game.
