NieR: Automata’s crossover weapons detailed in new video By Erren Van Duine on December 22, 2016 at 10:42 AM

Fans can check out NieR: Automata’s playable demo today – out now in both Europe and North America. Available as a free download, the demo transports players to an abandoned factory, following android 2B’s mission to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.

To celebrate, Square Enix has released a new trailer – featuring the game’s upcoming collaborations between Final Fantasy XV and the Dragon Quest series. These in-game items will allow protagonist 2B to equip Noctis’ signature Engine Blade and the Cypress Stick.

NieR: Automata is due out on February 23 in Japan, March 7 in North America and March 10 in Europe on PlayStation 4. A PC version is set to release via Steam in 2017.

  • Can I get the demo on the US servers of PSN or only on the JPN even though it has English text?
    EDIT: NVM.

Cypress Stick is a pretty hilarious choice, but I’d have preferred something more serious to match Engine Blade, like the Sword of Erdrick.
