Distant Worlds returns to Chicago for Final Fantasy's 30th anniversary

Square Enix and Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy are preparing a new series of orchestral concerts starting this September. Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary – JIRITSU, as it’s being called, will kick off in Chicago starting on September 16.

Fans are invited to join Nobuo Uematsu and the Distant Worlds Philharmonic Orchestra at the Chicago Symphony Center for a day of tributes to the Final Fantasy series – including music from the recently released Final Fantasy XV. The first showing will start at 3PM that day with an additional performance at 8PM CST.

Tickets go on sale starting February 14 at 10AM CST with a VIP option available. VIP ticket-holders will have the opportunity to meet up with Nobuo Uematsu and conductor Arnie Roth after each Chicago concert for an exclusive autograph session. Tickets will of course be limited so be sure to get in early if you’re interested.
