Dissidia Final Fantasy NT adds Final Fantasy VIII’s Rinoa and Type-0 stage today By Tony Garsow on August 16, 2018 at 8:06 PM

Version 1.15 of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is live today, and with it comes the arrival of the third season pass character: Rinoa Heartilly. Hailing from Final Fantasy VIII, Rinoa uses a combination of boomerang attacks and her faithful friend Angelo in battle. She can also use powerful magic and her Angel Wing limit break ability.

The Akademia Fountain Courtyard from Final Fantasy Type-0 is a brand-new stage that sets a wartime backdrop in the Dominion of Rubrum. Over time, the stage will morph into it’s Finis version from the final chapters of the story.

Other new features include: new story cutscenes, the ability to “give up” during Gauntlet Mode, change the summoning input from the DualShock 4 touch pad to L1+R1, adding friends from your PSN friends list, and change the difficulty of the AI when you create a custom match lobby. Other small improvements and bug fixes have been added.

We highlight the updates in the video below:

Am I the only one thats not fan of her voice? Never pictured Rinoa with such a high pitched brat voice.

That was my first take away. No way she would sound like that. She’s not a cheerleader. I definitely imagine a much lower register for her.
