Development for Kingdom Hearts III has officially wrapped up

Revealed in an official Twitter post alongside the release of a brand new trailer, director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that development on Kingdom Hearts III has officially concluded. In the same tweet, he also mentions seeing fans next month, implying Kingdom Hearts III may make another appearance in December.

The trailer that was unveiled with the announcement had been playing in North American cinemas as part of the preview lineup before a film. Titled “Together,” this promo features a few new scenes from the various Disney and Pixar worlds in a very movie-esque trailer, but doesn’t bring anything too story-heavy for fans familiar with older KHIII trailers.

Kingdom Hearts III is scheduled to release in Japan on January 25, 2019 and in North America and Europe on January 29, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
