Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition coming this September for the Switch

During the E3 special Nintendo Direct presentation, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition appeared briefly with a brand-new trailer that announced the official release date and showcased many of the new features that are coming to the Switch edition.

Scheduled to release on September 27, 2019, fans new and old alike will be able to embark on a grand quest as the Luminary, the hero chosen by Yggdrasil, the world tree, to save the world of Erdea from an evil fate.

The Switch edition comes with the original base game alongside new content such as bonus character-specific stories, additional monsters to ride, the ability to speed up battle sequences, side-quests that allow you to journey into past Dragon Quest worlds and more.
