The demo for Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition is available now

The demo version of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition is available now for download on the Nintendo Eshop for free, allowing new and returning players the chance to experience the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI ahead of its September 27 release.

Additionally, the Champion’s Pack DLC is also available as a free download and offers five sets of items as a special thank you to players who purchased the game. These items include:

  • Vests of Success Set: “A pair of garments said to bring good fortune to anyone who wears them!”
  • Wolf Wear: “A cool costume that makes Erik look more charismatic than ever!”
  • Baby Boar Set: “Have some fun with one of Veronica’s favorite costumes!”
  • Trodain Set: “Try on some traveler’s togs that will show our hero in another light!”
  • Happy Adventurer Set: “Packed full of helpful items that are sure to come in handy over the course of your adventures!”

It should be noted that players will need the full version of the game to access the DLC and will receive the items when the game officially launches.

The Switch version of Dragon Quest XI comes with the original base game alongside new content such as bonus character-specific stories, additional monsters to ride, the ability to speed up battle sequences, side-quests that allow you to journey into past Dragon Quest worlds and more.
