When you make your fellowship you will name it and choose your main activities which can include “player events,” “casual,” “battle,” or “housing.” You can add a comment and specify the primary language. A Fellowship Finder will allow you to search for fellowships where you can simply click yes to join.

A Fellowship board is used for notifications to all members. You can also create polls with up to five options and votes are anonymous as well as notices for communication. The Message Board section is where players can freely communicate and only the most recent 100 messages will be saved there.

YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse

The new alliance raid series set to begin in Patch 5.1 is YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse, based on NieR Automata. Collaborating is the game’s director Yoko Taro and producer Yosuke Saito — they joined the live broadcast to share more.

The first raid in the series is The Copied Factory. We got a preview of artwork used in designing the raid and it looks like ‘2P’ can be seen traveling with the players’ alliance.

Regarding how the collaboration came to be, Yoko Taro said that during a visit to a steakhouse, Yoshida asked him to collaborate. He joked that he thought the FFXIV team hated him since they hadn’t previously asked, but was happy to accept. He wants to create something that you won’t need prior experience in either game to enjoy.

We also got a preview of the music in the raid composed by Keiichi Okabe who said he wanted to arrange the NieR music to include a Final Fantasy prelude in a battle theme.
