Square Enix’s latest digest video out of Japan is here to focus on the story events of Final Fantasy XIII-2.

With less than two weeks before Lightning Returns is out domestically, the video gives an overview of what happened to the cast of Final Fantasy XIII as Serah’s sister and newcomer Noel set off in search of both Lightning and a better future.

Unfortunately, the dialogue and plot descriptions are all in Japanese – still, the scenes will be familiar to anyone who played the game to its completion. If you have yet to play FFXIII-2 I’d advise avoiding this video altogether as the latter half spoils the end of the game as a deliberate lead up to the next and final title in the series.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII hits Japan on November 21st and will launch in the West in February.
