Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster sales reach 260K in the U.S.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has done quite well for itself since going on sale this past March. According to the NPD Group – the company that tracks game sales data on a monthly basis – the combined sales on both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita hit over 260K units in two weeks.

While slightly under the game’s Japanese debut, FFX|X-2 HD did manage to top the debut sales of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX – which ended up selling 132K at launch. Despite its age and stiff competition last month. Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster is also the best selling Final Fantasy title of the year so far. Hopefully its success has convinced Square Enix that Final Fantasy XII should be next on their plate – fan demand is certainly there for it.
