24 years after it’s initial Japanese release, the RPG classic Romancing SaGa 3 is now available for western audiences to purchase on a multitude of modern day platforms including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One family of devices, Windows 10, Steam, and iOS and Android devices.

Romancing SaGa 3 is a multi-choice RPG that gives players the freedom to forge their own path by offering eight different protagonists to play through eight different narratives with various endings, with each character possessing their own motives and personalities, prompting multiple playthroughs. Developed by industry veterans such as producer and game designer Akitoshi Kawazu (Final Fantasy, Romancing SaGa and SaGa Frontier), musician and composer Kenji Ito (Final Fantasy Adventure, Sword of Mana and Romancing SaGa) and illustrator Tomomi Kobayashi (SaGa series), this HD remaster will feature optimized graphics, a new “Phantom Maze” dungeon to explore and the option for New Game+.

In celebration for it’s launch in the West, Romancing SaGa 3 will have a 20% discount available for the Nintendo Switch starting today and lasting until December 1, 2019 and all other platforms from today until December 4, 2019.

Additionally, for those looking for more adventures in the SaGa series, SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions will be releasing next month on December 3, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam and mobile devices.

And finally, the popular Japanese mobile title Romancing SaGa: Re;universe will be releasing globally for iOS and Android devices next year, and a small teaser trailer was released today alongside the launch of Romancing SaGa 3, as the mobile game is based in the same world.
