Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age PS4 and PC patch update includes Job reset function and more Gambit sets

It’s been a long time coming for these features to come to the PS4 and PC versions, but now the wait is over.

Square Enix has released a new patch update for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for the aforementioned platforms, finally adding the License Reset function and extra Gambit sets. Until now, these were available only on the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of the game which released last year.

Players can reset their license boards by visiting the city of Rabanastre and interact with Montblanc, the leader of Clan Centurio.

The PS4 patch update in particular also adds a third music option available for all players: the game’s original OST. It’s essentially the music from the PS2 version, but with higher quality samples and different instrumentation in some tracks.

If you’re looking to grab the game, the digital PS4 version is now at 50% off as part of PlayStation’s ‘Big in Japan‘ sale, which ends on May 8 at 8:00AM PST. The PC version is also on sale via Steam at 50% off until May 1.

Here are the patch notes:
