Back in March, Square Enix held a special 10-hour livestream event in celebration of NieR’s 10th anniversary. During the event, it was announced that a NieR Replicant Remastered was in development, but further information regarding it could not be discussed as it was apparently “missing.”

Now the “missing information” has been found, and just in time for the anniversary release date of NieR Replicant/Gestalt. On April 22, 2020, Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro will be hosting a livestream event on Nico Nico Live to talk more about the “lost programming.” The program will feature a variety of topics regarding NieR Replicant/Gestalt, including the chronology of NieR and a look into the creation of NieR’s improvisational weapon narrative.

According to the Nico Nico Live page for the event, the stream is set to go live at 07:00 Japan time, which will be 3:00pm PDT.
