A ‘Decent Amount of New Info‘ was certainly shown during the special NieR TGS 2020 broadcast that took place recently, so let’s just get right to it.

Square Enix has revealed NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the updated version of the 2010 action RPG, is releasing worldwide on April 23, 2021, with Japan receiving it a day early, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. This was given to us via an all-new trailer showing off bits of real-time footage of the game’s environments.

Following the trailer, members of the development team showed off a bunch more things including the game’s boxart, a collector’s edition boxset titled ‘White Snow Edition’, some character design artwork, actual gameplay footage showcasing the revamped combat system and… Look, there’s a lot, okay?

The international physical version of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will include two package designs, with the front boxart illustrated by Koda Kazuma, and the reversible boxart illustrated by Akihiko Yoshida.

The White Snow edition includes the following:

• “Lunar Tear” Collector’s Box
• Steelbook® Case – A metal case featuring stunning artwork by Illustrator Koda Kazuma.
