Final Fantasy IV gets new update & discount on PC, iOS, and Android

Square Enix has updated Final Fantasy IV on PC, iOS, and Android today, and in the same swoop discounting the game by 50%. Originally released on the Nintendo DS back in 2007, the low-poly 3D remake was ported to Steam and smartphones in subsequent years.

For the PC version, today’s update includes an updated UI with improved gamepad support as well as small adjustments to playing the game with a mouse and keyboard by clicking the touch panels. A 21:9 aspect ratio in Fullscreen mode is available, and Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Thai language options have also been added.

For smartphone users, you’ll now be able to watch the opening cinematic created by Square Enix’s Visual Works studio.
