Square Enix revealed the opening cinematic for the upcoming NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, due out on April 23, 2021 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The video introduces the main characters, their world and the quest they must take up in order to save the protagonist’s sister.

Square Enix also revealed that NieR: Automata, launched four years ago, has surpassed 5.5 million shipments and digital sales worldwide.
