NieR Re[in]carnation publisher Square Enix and developer Applibot opened preregistration for their new smartphone entry in the NieR franchise today. Coming to iOS and Android, the game is set in a mysterious tower that you navigate by controlling The Girl of Light. She has lost her memories, accompanied is by a ghostly companion named Mama.

Preregistration through Google Play will grant you a random chance to be selected for early access. The game requires iOS 10.0 or Android 7 operating systems. A preregistration campaign is also underway, bestowing in-game currency for surpassing certain milestones. NieR Re[in]carnation is free, but will feature paid microtransactions within.

The game is produced by Yosuke Saito, with creative director Yoko Taro, director Daichi Matsukawa, music by Keiichi Okabe, and character designs by Akihiko Yoshida and Kazuma Koda.
