Back by popular demand, Square Enix has announced a selection of popular Final Fantasy XIV books will be reprinted with new editions by 2022 including titles such as Encyclopaedia Eorzea vol.1 and vol. 2, the FINAL FANTASY XIV Poster Collection, and an English-translated edition of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Picture Book. Additionally, two new manga series, SINoALICE and My Happy Marriage, have been slated for release in 2022 as well. A tiny breakdown of these titles are as follows:

Encyclopaedia Eorzea ~The World of FINAL FANTASY XIV~

The first of two volumes including a full-color in-depth look at the locales, factions, and history of Eorzea fully written and put together by the game’s development team themselves. This book also includes a bonus item code for the in-game Namingway minion. Further details, as well as pre-ordering, can be found here. Both Vol.1 and 2 have been slated for a release on April 12, 2022.

The second half of Square Enix’s Encyclopaedia Eorzea collection contains a multitude of new lore and info on the new additions to the story of Final Fantasy XIV detailing new locales such as the new Eastern Continent explored in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. Much like the first volume, this volume also includes a bonus item code for the in-game head gear Matoya’s Hat. Preorders are currently up on the Square Enix Store and select retailers. This volume is scheduled for release on April 12, 2022.

FINAL FANTASY XIV Poster Collection

This poster collection includes 27 premium quality and full-color removable posters featuring intricate and brilliantly detailed character art from A Realm Reborn all the way to Shadowbringers. These posters are printed on press-varnished card stock and make for an impressive visual tribute to the world of Eorzea. Pre-orders begin on August 10, 2021 on the Square Enix Store which can be found here. The poster collection is currently scheduled for a release on May 10, 2022

FINAL FANTASY XIV Picture Book

Written by lead story designer Banri Oda and illustrated by Concept artist Hiroyuki Nagamine, the newly translated FINAL FANTASY XIV Picture Book provides a playful tale written for those of all ages to enjoy. FINAL FANTASY XIV Picture Book is slated for a release on July 26th, 2022 with preorders starting on October 26, 2021. Ordering the book can be done here.

SINoALICE Vol. 1

This manga adaptation of the popular mobile game SINoALICE is scheduled for release on February 8, 2022, and is available for pre-order starting today. Specific details on where to purchase are available here.

My Happy Marriage Vol. 1

This new manga series is a Cinderalla-inspired historical romance set in Meiji-Era Japan with hints of the paranormal in the story is scheduled for a release on June 21, 2022. Pre-orders for the first volume in this series are scheduled for September 21, 2021. Additional information can be found on the Square Enix Books website.
