Heavensturn seasonal event returns to Final Fantasy XIV on January 5

Final Fantasy XIV‘s limited-time New Years seasonal event “Heavensturn” will return on January 5th and run until January 19th. Beginning the day after patch 6.05 is released, the event will be a little later than usual due to the last-minute two week Endwalker expansion delay. However, decorations will return to the three Eorzean city-states of Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul’dah on December 31st.

Ringing in the Year of the Tiger, exclusive items will come in the form of a Gold-lacquered Tiger Helmet and a Silver-lacquered Tiger Helmet. A Byakko-themed furnishing “The White Tiger can also be claimed.

The Level 15 quest “Tangle with a Tora” will start the event, and can be unlocked in Limsa Lominsa’s Upper Decks by speaking to the tora bugyo at X:11.5, Y:13.9.

“The Heavensturn festival is upon us once again, and delegates from the Far East have arrived to spread word of their customary celebration. To this end, the tora bugyo would enlist your aid in spreading word across Eorzea to ensure the success of the festivities. Join the celebration and earn fun new rewards!”
