Released back in October of 2020, Octopath Traveler Conquerors of the Continent is a smartphone prequel to the mothership game, which initially released on Nintendo Switch in 2018 and saw subsequent ports to PC, Stadia, and Xbox One.

It retains Square Enix’s patented “HD-2D” presentation and is a classic turn-based RPG that will let you control up to eight characters in combat. The smartphone iteration employs a free-to-play model instead of a premium price, and includes in-app microtransactions.

In a recent stream, Square Enix shared that the game will be coming to North America and Europe, and that more information will be coming in the middle of this month.
