Dragon Quest Dai mobile game celebrates six months of operation with new events

Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds is a mouthful of a title for publisher Square Enix and DeNA’s smartphone title based on the -second- anime adaptation of a manga based on a Dragon Quest franchise. Phew. To celebrate six months of operation, the developers are running a salvo of events and campaigns we’ve listed below. All will be available starting today and will run through April 9th.

Square Enix will also be running a ‘Community Special Move’ campaign on the official Twitter account which will be conducted in two phases and feature a variety of popular special moves that were available in-game during events and treasure hunts. Retweeting the posts containing the special moves will count as a vote, to be tabulated to determine the most popular one in each phase. Then, the special move and its corresponding 4-Star weapon will be distributed to all players.

You can check out our hands-on impressions of the pre-launch version here.
