Upcoming Luminous Productions RPG Forspoken has been further delayed according to an announcement from Square Enix. Originally planned to release in October, the game will now spill over into next year when it launches on January 24, 2023 for PlayStation 5 and PC.

According to a message from the team, the game was pushed back after ongoing discussions with key partners. While all elements of the game are now complete, the development team is still working through the final polishing phase. Fans are thanked for their continued support and can expect more on Forspoken this Summer.

This marks the game’s second delay, with the initial launch having been planned for May 24. Previously the game was delayed for similar polishing efforts.
