Square Enix shared an update on the previously announced remakes of Front Mission 1st and Front Mission 2 in development for Nintendo Switch. Front Mission 1st will appropriately be the first of the two games to launch this November with the sequel heading up some time in 2023. Additionally, development of Front Mission 3 has been announced and will be released some time in the future.

ForeverEntertainment shared a look at Front Mission 2: Remake, which will be available outside of Japan for the first time. It aims to preserve the mature story, strategic turn-based combat, and Wanzer customization options found in the original while pulling everything together with updated visuals. There’s also support for many new languages, a few camera option, modern in-game effects and a renewed soundtrack.
