Square Enix TGS 2022 official site opens; lineup adds FFXVI, FFVII Rebirth and more

Square Enix has opened their website for Tokyo Game Show 2022 following an earlier preliminary listing detailing the company’s offerings at this year’s events. It’s curious to note the website offers up multiple language options, including English so we’ve gone ahead and detailed their plans based on that version.

While most of the lineup contains the games we already knew about, there’s some notable additions. Major titles such as Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have been added to the lineup, with a promise to appear in the Mega Theater in some form. Will they have new trailers? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Otherwise, fans can expect the likes of several hand-on games at the show including Forspoken, Valkyrie Elysium, Star Ocean The Divine Force, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion and more. Read on for the full list of what’s playable, what’s in the Mega Theater and what will be available through streaming.
