Theatrhythm Final Bar Line announced for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch; launches February 16, 2023

A new rhythm game is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo switch next year with the release of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. Set to launch on February 16, 2023, this latest entry to the Theatrhythm series (which previously included the likes of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest) promises a new slew of songs from the Final Fantasy series. In the future, post launch content will include tracks from NieR, Live A Live and Octopath Traveler.

Featuring 385 Final Fantasy tracks in the base game, Final Bar Line offers up three game modes to enjoy and over 100 characters from the Final Fantasy series that players can select to form their dream music battle party – including in local and online multiplayer modes.

Digital flavors of the game include a Deluxe Edition and Premium Edition with various bonuses. The Digital Deluxe Edition promises 442 songs included, with 27 additional special songs and includes the first DLC Season Pass. The Premium Digital Deluxe Edition jumps up to 502 total songs and includes the rest of the content found in the Deluxe Edition. These special songs will not be sold for sale separately so if you want them, these digital editions are the way to go.
