Live A Live comes to PlayStation and Steam on April 27, demo available today

Live A Live will be heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam on April 27th, courtesy of an announcement by Square Enix tonight. Originally available on the Nintendo Switch last year, the remake of the 1994 Super Famicom game featured fully HD-2D graphics, a remastered score, and many other additions to bring the game back to life.

One of Square’s gems that was never localized outside of Japan, players take the role of seven different heroes scattered across time who each have a scenario that is vastly different than the other. In the demo, you’ll be able control an outlaw forced to defend a town of strangers in the Wild West, infiltrate a castle as a ninja in the Twilight of Edo Japan, and decide what one of three disciples will carry on your legacy as the Earthen Heart Shift in Imperial China.

You’ll get a 20% discount on the game if you preorder through the PlayStation Store and Steam. Additionally, a demo will be available on the PlayStation Store and Steam today.
