Harvestella's incoming launch on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam is set for November 4th, and today Square Enix shared a new blog featuring some of the final major features before launch, as well as some interesting tweaks based on feedback from the free demo launched earlier this year on for the Switch.
Previous updates included a look at each major season aside from Quietus, including Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter — each represented by a town boasting unique features, cuisine, items, and NPCs.
Changes from the demo will be part of a day one update to the retail version only. They include:
Time progression has been slowed down so you'll be able to fit in more activities in a day.A reduced hit time for fishing, making the activity more rewarding.Switching jobs in battle is now faster, with a reduced cooldown timer between them. The Mage job will now attack more swiftly, based on feedback that it felt too slow.A new warning effect has been implemented that better communicates when the player character has critically low HP.The retail version has been improved with a partial reduction in loading times, modifications to the UI when saving or using auto-save, and various bug fixes.
