World of Final Fantasy-themed PlayStation Vita announced for Japan By Erren Van Duine on August 15, 2016 at 12:36 AM

Sony Japan is teaming up with Square Enix once again for a pair of new PlayStation Vita models styled after World of Final Fantasy. Both black and white editions will be available with differing designs depending on your preference.

The white model (Primero Edition) comes pictured with a collage of legacy characters from the Final Fantasy series while the black version (Oobito Edition) feature’s art of the game’s original cast. Both bundles come packed with an original World of Final Fantasy Vita theme as well as themed packaging.

Pre-orders start today over at the Sony Store, starting at 20,980 yen (plus tax) and will launch with the game proper on October 27.

Additionally, Square Enix is kicking off a special campaign for World of Final Fantasy where fans can vote for their favorite creature in the game. Prizes include these new Vita consoles, copies of the game, phone straps and themed t-shirts.
