The long-awaited release of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is ramping up with an all-new trailer, screenshots, and a release date slated for later this year. During today's Nintendo Direct, Square Enix revealed the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC-bound game will launch on November 14 across all platforms.
Rebuilt for the modern era, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake features updated graphics, new and modernized features, and a refined narrative. Pre-orders have now opened for the standard physical, digital edition, as well as a spendy Collector's Edition. Those who pre-purchase will receive a Trouble-Free Travel Kit in-game, which includes a collection of in-game items.

Additionally, in an effort to round out the first three games in the series, Square Enix is bringing Dragon Quest I and II to the HD-2D remake style with the release of Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, due out in 2025. No further details have been revealed yet, but we can assume the same platforms will apply as they did with DQIII.
