Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC

The updated version of Dragon Quest XI will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on December 4 this year, Square Enix announced today. This version is a port of the Nintendo Switch version, Dragon Quest XI S, and includes a classic 2D graphics mode, orchestral soundtrack, character-specific scenes, and Japanese voice-overs.

The game originally launched for PS4 and PC overseas in September 2018, with the Definitive Edition available for Switch since September 2019. Catch the announcement trailer, screenshots, and packshots below.

This version includes bonus items including a Trodain set for the Hero styled after Dragon Quest VIII‘s protagonist, a Baby Boar costume for Veronica, five Pep Pop items, and five Seed of Skill items.
