Final Fantasy XVI gets a new trailer; releases Summer 2023

At long last Final Fantasy XVI has re-revealed itself to the world through Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast. Producer Naoki Yoshida lead the way with a quick message thanking fans for their patience, noting that more will be shared on the game with media outlets in the coming weeks.

The new trailer provided, titled “Dominance”, features the protagonist Clive as he fights through various battles. The various eikons can be seen along with the game’s user interface and upgrade in overall visuals. Of course, the trailer caps off with the news that Final Fantasy XVI will be available Summer 2023. That’s about a year to wait for its release on PlayStation 5 but it looks as if the wait was indeed worth it.
