Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange Before the Storm Remastered will release on Nintendo Switch this September 27th, as part of The Arcadia Bay Collection. Square Enix External Studios and Deck Nine games have brought the entirety of DONTNOD’s games to the handheld and have remastered the visuals and optimized the performance for Switch across characters and environments. Life is Strange Remastered also includes improved character animation using full facial mocap.

Earlier this year, the remasters released on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X, Stadia, and PC, but the Switch version was delayed as developer Deck Nine needed more time to finish.

Life is Strange follows Max Caulfield as she attends school in Arcadia Bay, Oregon. When her childhood friend Chloe Price is attacked, the incident awakens supernatural powers within Max, allowing her to manipulate time to prevent it from happening. The decisions that Max makes over the course of five chapters affect how the story unfolds. Before the Storm is a prequel that centers around Chloe and her relationship with her friend Rachel Amber.
