Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion shows it's "More than a Remaster" in new trailer, screenshots and system specs

Square Enix showed off a new look at the upcoming Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion, set to release across multiple platforms in just under a month. The video takes a look at the complete overhaul the game has seen since its original release on PSP 15 years ago – including a complete HD graphics overhaul, newly arranged soundtrack, fully voiced dialogue in English and Japanese and an updated battle system.

The company also revealed a detailed infographic that shows off the resolution and framerate for each platform version. Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion will run at 4K on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC along with 60 frames per second. The older platforms will cap at 30 frames and lower resolutions. Executive Producer Yoshinori Kitase says, “This is more than a remaster, a game that crosses generations and platforms. We are very proud of all the amazing improvements that the dev team has been able to include.”
