Final Fantasy XVI will come to Final Fantasy XIV in a new crossover event starting April 2nd and continuing through May 8th, 2024. Titled “The Path Infernal”, players will encounter the game’s protagonist Clive Rosfield and the XVI iteration of Ifrit, and obtain exclusive rewards such as Clive’s Metian attire and a Torgal mount and minion.

Since the events are combined this year, the festival decorations will vary from city to city. Ul’dah will appropriately be decked out in Little Ladies’ Day decor while Gridania will feature Hatching-tide decorations. Limsa Lominsa and residential districts will switch half way through the event on March 22nd.

This includes the loosening of restrictions on obtaining rewards from end game raids and a boost in experience points for Trust party members, among other things.

The game is also hosting a combined Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-tide seasonal event now through April 1, 2024, where limited-time seasonal rewards like the Peatie mount can be obtained.

And, of course, the game’s fifth expansion Dawntrail has been given a July 2nd, 2024 release date with early access starting June 28th. Pre-orders for the game are set to begin on March 26th.
