Visions of Mana details its main playable and supporting cast

We learned that Visions of Mana will be launching August 29th, 2024 in a new trailer that debuted this morning. In said trailer, we learn the game will have five playable characters and several supporting characters. You can swap characters in and out of a team of three at a given time, while support characters will battle alongside you. Today, we learn more about them courtesy of the Square Enix blog.

Val, the protagonist, is a Soul Guard, tasked with protecting the Alm of Fire, Hinna, on her pilgrimage to the Tree of Mana. Along the way they join up with Careena, an oracle that totes along the sacred beast cub Ramcoh. Morley struggles with the weight of a troubled past and Palamena is learning to accept her role as the new leader of her nation. Julei is a sproutling that’s looking over his sleeping brethren, and Aesh is supporting character who weilds elemental magic.

Visions of Mana will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and the Windows Store.
