Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster confirmed for PS4, launches Spring 2015 By Erren Van Duine on December 11, 2014 at 7:46 AM

Square Enix has confirmed Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will arrive on PlayStation 4 next year. Along with an official update to the Japanese website, the company told VideoGamer.com that the classic two-game bundle will hit shelves overseas in Spring and carry with it a price of $49.99/£39.99.

The game will be available as both a digital and packaged product along with PS4-specific system features likely in reference to Share and Remote Play.

  • Any additional improvements? Direct port would be a cash-grab. It’s doubtful but you can still hope because even FFVII PS4 will get improved visually. Well, hopeful.

And where is the Collectors Edition?

They said there will be improvements but have not announced it yet. my guess is that it will be full 1080p with AA and at 60 fps as the PS3 version had 1080p with no AA or 720p with AA at 30 fps.

    FF XII. Just saying. 🙁

It will happen. I believe!! who knows if this sells well they may consider it.

Heck, my FFX/X-2 Collector’s Edition arrived a few days ago before this announcement, and I’m willing to buy the game again on PS4 if it means that it’ll help Square realize that they need to remaster XII.

Not to mention, I hate X and X-2.

Hopefully, it will have a skip option for cutscenes for the new version 🙂
