In celebration of the launch of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster in North America, both art director Yusuke Naora and producer Yoshinori Kitase took to the gallery celebration's opening ceremony held a couple weeks ago in Alhambra, California.
Following a day of many visitors and prize giveaways, Naora preformed a live art demonstration - creating a one-of-a-kind piece of work to be auctioned off for charity. While we normally write stories about saving the world, I wondered if there was anything we could do through our games to share the pain felt by those affected," said Naora.
In addition to original piece, brand-new original art by Naora, Isamu Kamikokuryo, Tetsuya Nomura, and a special art panel signed by 10 Final Fantasy X artists are available for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts. Bidding closes tomorrow, March 26 at 11:00 p.m. (PDT).
